Hinz Blog Says Lakefront Voters Lazy

For those of you 43rd Ward residents who voted in the March 3rd special primary election to replace Rahm Emanuel in Illinois 5th Congressional District, I thank you. Unfortunately however that's only 16% of the registered voters.

Crain's columnist Greg Hinz (click the headline above for the story) hammered those 84% of the voters who sat this election out. That many voters neglecting the election shows the need for real leadership that will unite the 43rd Ward.

Congrats to Mike Quigley who will undoubtedly make an excellent Congressman after he wins the April 7th general election.
